Indeed

"What, then, is the difference which He has made to the whole human mass? It is just this; that the business of becoming a son of God, of being turned from a created thing into a begotten thing of passing over from the temporary biological life into the timeless 'spiritual' life, has been done for us. Humanity is already 'saved' in principle. We individuals have to appropriate that salvation. But the reall tough work- the bit we could not have don for ourselves- has been done for us. We have not got to try to climb up into spiritual life by our own efforts; it has already come down into the human race. If we will ony lay oursleves open to the one Man in whom it was fully present, and who, in spite of being God, is also a real man, He will do it in us and for us. Remember what I said about good infection. Of of our own race has this new life: if we get close to Him we shall catch it from Him."- CS Lewis

Joe and Hannahs. My dearest of friends Hannah is dating a wonderful man, Joe. This is the 3 of us after hiking in North Georgia. They are fun to take pictures of because they love each other so much. I can honestly say that I have felt more loved and supported by them than I could have asked for.

As a couple not only do they love each other and people around them well, but they love Jesus, so much that you can't help but know that they are so full of life. They are considerate and selfless and so much fun to be with. They enjoy life and I have been so encouraged by their relationship.

Also, they are just darn cute. Look at how happy they are together, in the parking lot of his school's library... these were not even planned pictures. I just took pictures of them them goofing off and the above photos are what ensued.

Everet

Bryndîs is amazing and beautiful and wonderful, but lets talk about this guy, Everett. He is the best thing that has every happened. I was in Bolton dining hall when my sister told me she was having a baby, on the top floor incase you were wondering. I was in biology lab (8am lab whomp) when he was born. He calls me Aunt Silly, which currently sounds more like siwwyy. I went to visit him a couple weeks ago and he couldnt even stop moving to hug me he was so excited, talk about the best feeling in the world. He is so full of life and energy, and I honestly cannot imagine loving something more than him. I am so honored to be part of his story, and I have great plans of being part of his life. There is just nothing greater than getting to watch him grow up and become who he will be.

Bryndîs (Disa)

This is my niece, Bryndîs, yes it rhymes. She is the second child of my sister, Emily and she just could not be more beautiful. Her smile is the most contagious and precious grin you could imagine and look, seriously, look at those eyes. They are teal. You never think you can love something more until, you just do, and here she is the girl I love most on the planet. You can see in the picture below that she does this thing where she loves grabbing your face, or the face of any one holding her, it is so sweet. The first picture of her is in Iceland, about 2 weeks after she was born and the most recent ones are from Christmas. She will be 1 in May.

Country Roads, Take Me Home

MLK weekend was probably one of the best weekends I can remember ever having. I drove up to Dahlonega and Gainesville with my dearest Hannah, and many an  adventure ensued. We went hiking and stayed at her wonderful cabin, and spent long hours laughing with her boyfriend Joeseph and his friend Fish (Matthew). The whole weekend we listened to Country Roads by John Denver, hence the title of the post. Here are some of the photos. Hope you enjoy!

New

I dont know if anybody is seeing this, nor am I sure how much that matters to me. I do however ask that as I start this up you bear with me as I add random photo selections and try to get a basis up and running from past photos taken. As I travel this coming summer my photos will be more current and relevant, but now I am mostly trying to post pictures that I love that I took on past trips and shoots with people. I look forward to perfecting my blogging skills as I venture more into this cyber world.

Also- This is Me

I'll Still be There

This is Julianna, my best friend, and her now Husband Trey. We have all known each other since we were 11 so it was so great to be able to take some engagement shots for them. I'm totally an amateur but these are the ones I liked the most from our shoot.
Welcome. So, most of the time I find my writing to be corny and over intentional. I will do my best to avoid. I'm writing this blog, as more of an outlet for my photography in the past and hopefully in the future. Janna Bean is what a good friend of mine used to call me and Hannah Jean was already taken, so here we are. Janna Bean and the pictures I takes of various people places and things.
